Receives Better Business Bureau Award for Marketplace Ethics
Uckele Health & Nutrition was honored to accept the Better Business Bureau's 2009 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics at the 90th Anniversary Celebration for Marketplace Excellence, held at Gladieux Meadows in Toledo on May 14th. "It is a privilege to be recognized for our commitment to quality and integrity among the best and the brightest of BBB members," said Mike Uckele, President and CEO. "We are honored to be recognized by our banker for achieving the Customer Service Standards that we have set for ourselves."

The Torch Award is given by the Better Business Bureau to three area for-profit businesses and one non-profit in the 18-county area, whose practices and related activities represent the BBB's mission of promoting the highest standards of business ethics and conduct. Among the many documents required to qualify Uckele for this accreditation, were testimonials from customers, vendors, employees that supported Uckele's commitment to service and quality, including actions beyond the call of duty to provide service to customers or to correct undetected billing errors even if they were in Uckele's favor, letters from industry peers and local community leaders that expressed Uckele's commitment to high ethical standards and commendations from customers, vendors and charities for Uckele's commitment to service and quality.
